Hosted by the Department of Education, Kapitol partnered with Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT Group) at the Trade & Tech Fit Career Expo in Melbourne.
With more than 4000 female and non-binary high school students and career counsellors in attendance across the two days, our hard-working (and a little hoarse!) team introduced the students to the diverse career pathways available in both the trade and construction management side of the industry.
The students also loved seeing how we're using technology to build, with our team demonstrating the power of AR in digital design and construction.
It was truly inspiring to see how many of the students showed a genuine interest in choosing a career in construction. These type of events are so important to open the eyes of girls and non-binary people to the industry. You can't be what you can't see right?!
