KAPITOL’s SCHOOLS PROGRAM | In partnership with Empowered Women In Trades, we hosted the first skills workshop with 20 students from Mentone Girls’ Secondary College on Friday.
Giving students a first-hand glimpse into the industry and the opportunities available is part of our goal to attract female and non-binary talent for the future and mitigate skills shortages.
The program was featured on Channel 7 where we heard from Kapitol’s People & Culture Manager Alice Hanna, and EWIT’s CEO Hacia Atherton, CPA, as well as some excited students!
A big thank you to our client NEXTDC for allowing us to host the students at their M2 facility in Melbourne and to Nilsen Group and Micio for your trade talks to the students.
