International Women's Day | Master Builders Association of Victoria

Last week at the Master Builders Victoria - International Women's Day Breakfast, Head of People and Culture, Alice Hanna spoke on a panel alongside Bunnings Trade and Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT Group) with the theme of “Count Her In – Invest in Women and Accelerate Progress” in the construction industry. The discussion was hosted by Australian Olympian and Former AFL General Manager of Women’s Football, Nicole Livingstone OAM OLY who shared her own stories about the women who inspired her to be the best in her sport.

Alice spoke of the changes she’s seen in the construction industry in 6 years and about Kapitol’s commitment to better work life balance for all workers and for men in particular to vote with their feet. “If a company isn’t dedicated to diversity, inclusion and supporting women – then go elsewhere!”

With over 840 attendees, the breakfast and the MBV in which brings us all together to supports women across the industry and promoted a vibrant discussion about diversity, equity and inclusion.
