452 Johnston Street Abbotsford - Project Update

PROJECT UPDATE | Kapitol has recently completed the base build at 452 Johnston Street Abbotsford including demolition, a huge new atrium with skylights, a winter garden, new facilities including a café fitout, and reinstating the original timber floors. The original Yarra Falls Spinning Co. factory was constructed in 1918 to assist in providing war supplies and as a response to the wartime shortages of textile yarns during WWI. It is a whopping 16,000 m2 or the equivalent of four Bunnings warehouses! Congratulations to the project team, contractors and subbies on the amazing work done so far. Watch this space for more exciting updates about further Kapitol works on this historic building.
