Kapitol’s latest build-to-rent project for Aware Real Estate, developed in partnership with Barings, is prominently located at the junction of High Street and Plenty Road, a significant and historical intersection in the suburb of Preston. Preston has long been a cherished residential area, with High Street and Plenty Road serving as its main thoroughfares since the late 19th century. The first settlers, primarily farmers, laid the foundation for this vibrant community and by 1891, the population had grown to 3,600. The post-WWII population boom further shaped the area, leading to significant residential development.
This new BTR project will play a significant role in the ongoing development of Preston. The project will feature 292 studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, including 7 duplex townhouses, 6 shops, and a 3-level basement car park. It has also been considerately designed to meet the needs of modern residents while respecting the historical character of the area.
We are excited to see how this project will help Preston thrive and continue its tradition of growth and vibrancy.
