Name The Crane Competition | YVG

    To engage the junior school in our performing arts centre project, Project Manager George Cooney held a 'Name the Crane' competition. Students were encouraged to colour in crane designs and come up with a name. We were amazed by the creativity of the entries we received!

    In true construction fashion, we held a ceremony to announce the winners. With all the entries displayed at the school, we had the joy of reviewing their creations. We are pleased to announce that our YVG Crane has been named 'Big Foot Banjo', a delightful combination of names from entries by Anna and Caitlin. The students cheered as Anna and Caitlin called for 'Chippy' to swing the crane around to celebrate, and George, playing the role of Santa, gifted the winners with LEGO building blocks—because what else would a construction company gift?

    We love engaging the school's community on this project. Not only do the students get to witness the project's progress, but they also have a unique role in it with the hoarding design and now naming the crane. Stay tuned to see what's next for this exciting project!
