We’re excited to celebrate a major milestone at the CFMEU Vic/Tas Training and Wellness Centre! Despite the challenges of a complex, tight space project, our dedicated site team have achieved great feats to reach this stage. Guests included funding partner Incolink , architects Hayball , structural engineer van der Meer Consulting , and Vistek Structural Engineers
The new centre boasts five unique areas, including culturally sensitive spaces for women and Indigenous members, a cutting-edge gym and rehabilitation space for injured members returning to work, and a versatile multi-purpose area for functions and events.
We are looking forward to sharing more updates as we work towards an end of 2024 completion.
Traditional Land Owners: the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin, on whose land this project stands.
