Kapitol Group was delighted to complete its first project for leading national integrated property investor, Cbus Property in May 2023.
Our works included ECI services to inform the design of the overeall project and demolition of buildings at 423 Bourke Street, 140 and 105 Queen Street, and 27 McKillop Street to create an amalgamated site of nearly 3000m2 in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
Following demolition Kapitol completed the site establishment and logistics planning and completion of the retention and piling of a 5 1/2 level basement, one of the largest basements in the City of Melbourne.
Kapitol Group was selected by Cbus because of our ability to collaborate with their project team during the resolution of the design and bring Tier 1 construction smarts to the planning of the site. We implemented stringent QA processes using Visibuild to capture all records of the piling works which were novated to the main works contractor, ensuring effective risk transfer for Cbus.
